paint chips for lunch

I spent my lunch today at Dickson's Hardware in Harvard Square finding just the right colors for the VERY special necklace idea I have. (hint: it involves the Brimfield beads).

I have the usual acrylic craft paint but I didn't want to have to mix custom colors - they dry out and I can never duplicate the recipe. but... Pratt & Lambert has some phenomenal shades and many come in 'sample size' containers. They're a little pricy but it's worth it. Dickson's is one of the few places around here that carries the paint and it's conveniently located a block from my 'real job'. I also grabbed a stack of paint chips in the same colors with the hopes of creating birthday card/artwork that can be framed.
