bright, tailored and airy inspiration

if you head to my 'interiors' board on pinterest you will see these rooms and many more like them. I'm not sure why my actual home doesn't reflect this but I'd really like to get this look. I'm not in the market for any new furniture, I have absolutely no reason to paint and making/buying drapes (do people call them drapes? curtains?) is ridiculously low on my list of things to do. it appears that I'm at an interiors stalemate.

while I have you here - can we talk about sources/crediting for a minute? I can't tell you the amount of time it took me to find the origins of each of these photos, let alone find the designer or photographer. as it is, I still have no idea where 'two' came from so I've linked it to my pin which we all know is cheating - pinterest isn't a source. and neither is tumblr! to google search just try right-clicking any image you come across and the first eight results that come back are pinterest or tumblr.

if you come across the source or any factual information about the second photo would  you let me know? you could even comment on the pin itself.

lastly - WATERMARK YOUR SHIT. seriously. I know I haven't been very diligent about this until recently but it bears mentioning. I use photoshop for most things these days but if you don't have that you can always use free programs like picmonkey. (here's a great tutorial) if you're on your iphone the impressions app is ridiculously easy to use and I need to remember to do it more often.
