A LITTLE GETAWAY

Bob had a conference for a few days in Orlando last week so I met him when it was over and hung around the pool. our anniversary is in about a month so we used that as our excuse because you know my boss is such a slave driver. 😂

it was nice to just relax - nothing we felt we HAD to do or see and no schedule other than to feed ourselves. even the weather worked out for us.

I literally washed my swimsuits from the last florida trip, put them back in my suitcase and concentrated on what to wear to dinner. the first night we headed to a casual dinner in disney springs so I broke out my new earrings. I wore my new favorite pants from everlane, a navy, knit top from h&m and slides from banana republic SS18. the clear winner of the outfit was my straw bag from zara. 10/10 would recommend.

the second night we kept it even more casual and had dinner at the hotel before heading out to cirque du soleil! I will see any cirque show I can. (last year we saw Love in Vegas.)

I wore my orange, zara toile pants from last summer, a simple white T, same bag and last summer’s hot pink slides and cashmere sweater from j.crew. the star was obviously my new abby necklace. 💕

the last night we went to a fabulous italian place in orlando - cristini’s. complete with an accordion player serenading us with ‘fly me to the moon’ and a special dessert for our early anniversary celebration.

not sure why I picked my tailored white pants to wear while eating bolognese but I was mostly unscathed. the pale lilac linen top is from not PERFECT linen, recycled my slides and bag , then topped it all off with a classic deirdre necklace.
