COME BEAD WITH ME!

I’m fortunate to have some pieces for sale in For Now this fall/winter and I was super excited to be asked to host a little in-store event last week.

I’ve been asked in the past about doing custom work and it’s just not something that works out, for a number of reasons, but I realized if people had access to already painted beads, they could make ‘custom’ necklaces of their own design. so… I packed up my leftover beads, lengths of pre-measured chain, grabbed some rose and set up shop at For Now.

I wasn’t sure how it would work out but was pleasantly surprised how it all came together.

it was so much fun!! I loved seeing which colors/patterns other people chose and the leopard and zebra beads were the biggest hits.

it was really nice to get to talk with people in a non-selling situation. I heard from a few people that were sorry they couldn’t make it so I’ve got some ideas on how to host similar events going forward.
