STUDIO UPDATE
and a heads-up on some upcoming fun
It’s hard to believe we’re only a few days away from november. aside from dreading the end of daylight saving time, I’ve got a few things on the calendar that I’m really looking forward to like…
NOVEMBER 4 - THE NIMBLE NEEDLE POPUP
I’ll be in Atlanta hanging in the shop from 10a-2p with 20% off canvases and 10% off jewelry! you read that right - I’m bringing a suitcase full of my hand-painted jewelry and I can’t wait to meet you! and as always, ‘this took forever’ needle minders as a gift with purchase (while supplies last)
NOVEMBER 6 - PROVIDENCE ART CLUB LITTLE PICTURES, SHOW & SALE
this is the 118th annual show & sale and I’m having a hard time parting with these 5” x 5” beauties. last year I offered up little imaginary landscapes and this year I’ve got some abstract florals. the galleries are open daily from 12-5 until December 23 but if you can’t make it in person, let me know and I’ll connect you to Michael Rose, the gallery manager, and we can make your art dreams come true.
DECEMBER 3 - STITCH BOUTIQUE BOSTON POPUP
I had so much fun earlier this year in their Wellesley, MA location I’m coming back for more in Boston. details TBD but please PLEASE come say and shop my #ecsdesigns at 20% off. I’ll have more ‘this took forever’ needle minders as a gift with purchase (while supplies last)
DECEMBER 10 - MAD DOG STUDIO OPEN STUDIOS & SALE
we’ve got new management at the studio and I’m really excited that our holiday sale is back on. hours TBD but count on doors open, art for sale and studios buzzing.
which brings me to some housekeeping -
I will be lobbing another ‘adopt a painting’ launch sometime in late november. it’ll be all the ‘gems’ I’ve been working on in my tuesday painting workshop as well as some older pieces. date TBD but I’ll give first dibs to newsletter subscribers so keep an eye out.
also, I fully expect my 2023 calendar to be available in ye olde shoppe in the next couple of weeks.
and lastly, after the open studios on December 10, I’ll be shutting things down for the rest of the year. I’ve had an incredible year, with so many surprises and highs but it’s all come with many lessons and curveballs. I’m going to spend the last couple of weeks making my 2022 #cardart, stitching up some just-for-fun things and brainstorming all the ways I can kick ass in 2023.
