one of my go-to fonts for adding a lowercase initial to my canvases is ‘Georgia’. it’s a serif typeface designed in 1993 by Matthew Carter (and modified by Tom Rickner for the Microsoft Corporation) that Microsoft describes as “exuding a sense of friendliness; a feeling of intimacy”.
